- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, needs to perform major rehabilitation on the Main and Back Channel Dams, Emsworth Locks and Dams, Ohio River, Pittsburgh, PA. The work (with the exercise of all awardable options) consists of fu rnishing and installing two, new, 30-ton monorail-type bulkhead hoists with lifting beams and appurtenant equipment on the monorail beam beneath the service bridge at the dam. One hoist will be installed at the Main Channel Dam and one at the Back Channel Dam. The work includes removal and disposal of the existing bulkhead hoists. This solicitation is very similar to the previous solicitation W911WN-06-B-0006, synopsized on May 15, 2006. The procurement is unrestricted, and any resulting award will be m ade pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
