- Description
- The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform sediment removal services at the Meadows Shelter Sediment Pond located at Hop Brook Lake, Middlebury and Waterbury, Connecticut. Sediment will be removed from an area of approximately 17,000 square feet to a depth of 10 12 feet. Approximately 4300 cy of material will be removed and disposed of offsite. The work includes preparing the existing bypass channel to receive diverted flows, constructing a temporary imper vious diversion structure, providing a ballasted floating silt curtain and restoring the flow to prework conditions. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 7 August 2006.
