Description
The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management and Program manager, Night Vision Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition is conducting a market survey. This is a market survey to locate sources of supply for the Dismo unted Battery Box (DBB) NSN 6160014943671 used with the Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3). The purpose of this procurement is to acquire 232 additional quantities of the Dismounted Battery Box (DBB) with 100% option to meet the Army s production requirement. This is a market survey to identify all parties interested in taking part in this entire effort as a prime contractor. Please provide information no later than 31 July 2006. Note the Government does not own a technical drawin g package for this effort. a. Description and Application: The purpose of this procurement is to acquire a sub-component of the LRAS3, the DBB, which aides in enabling the LRAS3 to function in a dismounted configuration. The procurement is in support of a supplemental procurement of LRAS3s. b. Performance Requirements: The following list contains the performance specifications that the supplier will need to meet to be considered fully qualified. MIL-PR-A3264477C LRAS3 Performance Specification U0140RWH, Rev A Performance Specification for the LRAS3 Dismount Battery Box PRD 2155 Acceptance Test Procedures for the LRAS3 Dismounted Battery Box c. Projected Quantity Requirements(232): The projected Dismount Battery Box quantities are as follows: 2007 Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct 5 30 30 30 30 2008 Nov Dec Jan Feb 30 30 30 17 To be considered fully qualified a prospective supplier will need to meet the delivery quantities plus all possible surge needs.
