- Description
- J--Aviation maintenance, overhaul. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance, overhaul of the Compressor Seal, Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-301-5864, Input/Output Part Number: 6061T53P01. The proposed contractual action will be a five-year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity is 264 each, maximum quantity 604 each (20% of the quantity for FMS). Authorit y cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. Technical data is available to support the Overhaul/Upgrade of the Compressor Seal. Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-2840-248-1 and DMSR 1-2840-248-2 with change 7 is adequate and available, does ex ist for the subject item configuration. PWD Repair and Return Requirements Commercial Overhaul Contract to sole source General Electric for 1 unit, not a FSP/CSI, but used in Critical Application. The only known approved source(s) of overhaul is General Electric Company Div, GE Transportation-Aircraft Engines, Lynn MA (Cage 99207). Responsible sources, that can perform the above effort, may submit an offer, but all offerors must meet pre-qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Awa rd will not be withheld pending approval of new source(s). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date state above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This requirement is currently unfunded.
