Our geographic area covers 8 Air Force bases throughout the Pacific Rim including: Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Japan and Korea. This educated and lucrative market generates has an estimated buying power of over $2 billion dollars annually. ABOUT THE TASTE FACTOR SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY This program is the next evolution of the Air Force program Fit Factor, designed to combat youth obesity by encouraging teens to ?get up ? get out ? get fit.? Fit Factor is an online incentive program where Air Force youth log in points acquired by participating in a variety of physical activities, including sports, yard work and even housecleaning! Brand your company with the healthy lifestyle of Fit Factor, making your brand the first choice for healthy foods with military parents and Air Force teens. Eight Air Force Youth Centers in Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Japan and Korea will conduct an informative workshop for teens ages 13 ? 18 on how to plan a menu, shop for, and ultimately execute a complete meal serving 6 people. The meal will include: beverage, main course, and at least one side dish. Following the workshop, teens will form into groups of four to compete in the Taste Factor Challenge. Each group will shop for menu ingredients at the base commissary and then prepare a meal at the Youth Center. The Challenge will take place during the month of September. A team of judges comprised of the Services Commander, Club Manager or Head Chef, Dining Facility Manager, Commissary Manager will rate each meal. Awards will be presented for first through fourth place. Winning recipes and menus from each Air Force base will be made into a Taste Factor book distributed free to throughout the Pacific military families via Services Youth Centers and the commissaries.
