- Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment to perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work needed install eight emergency traffic signals for Fire Department use. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238210 with a size standard of $13MIL; the SIC code is 1731 This contract will be a ?Price Performance Trade-Off? contract; award will be made based on the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 127 calendar days. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $500,000. This is a ?special straddle bid.? Which may only be awarded if current-year funding becomes available before 30 Sep 2006. If funding is not available the solicitation will be cancelled. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten days of contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 3 Aug 2006. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
