- Description
- Services nonpersonal: Shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, supervision, materials and other items and services necessary to perform all duties and tasks associated with Military Housing Maintenance at Malmstrom AFB. The contractor shall accept, as is, and maintain approximately 1,250 units, including all new replacement-housing units built throughout the term of the contract. Military Family Housing maintenance applies to all interior/exterior components and accessories of housing units, garages, storage sheds, utility systems and exterior accessories. During change of occupancy maintenance, the contractor shall be responsible for shoveling sidewalks and drives if snow covered and removing trash and cobwebs from window wells if required. All work shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer?s recommendations, and applicable federal, state and local rules/laws, building codes and regulations, to maintain unit structure and integrity, achieve safe, economical, operational and undeteriorated living conditions. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the government for reimbursement. The basic period of performance is 01 October 06 through 30 September 07 with four one-year option periods. A limited amount of equipment will be provided as government furnished property. Contractor should have the capability to provide maintenance vehicles and some heavy equipment. In addition, the solicitation and resultant contract will include FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. All offerors doing business with the government MUST register in the DoD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database prior to any subsequent award. CCR registration can be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov. Additional information concerning CCR registration may be obtained by calling: 1-888-227-2423. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Work Flow (WWAF) system. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see Internet site https://wawf.eb.mil/ for registration. Potential contractors must also register in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at Internet site http://orca.bpn.gov. The single source of entry, for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition, will be posted on the government procurement website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All interested parties are responsible for checking this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e. amendments issued, changes to the SOW, etc).
