- Services nonpersonal: Shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, supervision, materials and other items and services necessary to perform all duties and tasks associated with Base Grounds Maintenance and Military Family Housing Grounds at Malmstrom AFB, Montana in a manner that will maintain healthy, pest-free grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Maintain 8 playground sites, 70 irrigation systems, and accomplish general litter patrol. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the government for reimbursement. The basic period of performance 01 October 06 through 30 September 07 with four one-year option periods. In addition, the solicitation and resultant contract will include FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a competitive best value acquisition using simplified procedures authorized by FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. All offerors doing business with the government MUST register in the DoD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database prior to any subsequent award. CCR registration can be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov. Additional information concerning CCR registration may be obtained by calling: 1-888-227-2423. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Work Flow (WWAF) system. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see Internet site https://wawf.eb.mil/ for registration. Potential contractors must also register in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at Internet site http://orca.bpn.gov. The single source of entry, for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition, will be posted on the government procurement website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All interested parties are responsible for checking this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e. amendments issued, changes to the SOW, etc).
