- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is334516, Size Standard 500 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2BBAE6088A100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11 effective 05 Jul 2006. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) for Maintenance Service agreement for the GCR-230-10 and MOPO-710 Laser Systems. Two preventive maintenance visits are required during the stated period of performance. Certified engineers capable of maintaining GCR-230-10 and MOPO-710 Laser Systems are to travel to the stated destination to perform the appropriate maintenance associated with Air Force Research Laboratory, Hanscom AFB. All components requiring replacement to achieve proper specs will be replaced at no additional cost to the government. Should the unit exhibit a decline in performance or have failure, all labor required to repair the unit must be fully covered. All time consumed by the field engineers traveling to and from the stated destination for any work required must be convered at no additional cost to the government.
