- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Audio-Video Corporation., 213 Broadway, Albany, NY 12204 for the purchase of a Test Area Video Monitoring & Recording System. This item is a complete custom built system built and delivered for testing purposes. Substitution of this item is unacceptable due to the negative impact on the testing both in terms of cost and schedule. Justification is based on Audio-Video Corporation as the sole developer of these items which are configured to T&E requirements at AFRL Rome Research Site. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement is set aside 100% small business. The NAICS code is 335999. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
