- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Parametric Technology Corp. (PTC), 140 Kendrick St, Needham MA 02494-2714 for the purchase of 3D CAD Package Software. Package includes Flex3C Pro/Intralink; Pro/Engineer Structural and Thermal Simulation option; and maintenance for Pro/Engineer Structural and Thermal Simulation option. The software package is an upgrade to existing software used for fabrication at AFRL Rome Research Site (RRS). Justification is based on PTC as the sole developer of the software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 511210. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
