Description
The 314th Contracting Squadron at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas hereby issues this Sources Sought Notice for the following categories: 8(a), HUBZone, and Service Disabled Veteran whose primary NAICS code is 237310. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. SOLICITATION AND AWARD ARE CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE. The purpose of this notice is to identify sources with the capability to furnish all plant, labor and material in performing all operations in connection with the Sustain/Repair Airfield Pavements Requirements Contract in accordance with Specifications and Statement of Work. Principal features of the work shall consist of but are not limited to the following; seal joints, spall repair, remove and dispose of concrete pavements, construction of new concrete slabs, asphalt cold milling and disposal of milled material, placing hot mix asphalt, providing temporary airfield lighting during construction, temporary and permanent airfield markings, random crack repair, install new tie-downs in new or existing pavement, groove the runway surface, install subdrains, hydroseed disturbed areas, install underground electric and lights, install erosion control measures, and repair the cement stabilized surface course at the All American Landing Zone. Projected magnitude is between $5,000,000-$10,000,000. Interested sources should have experience in this type of work or similar projects. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost(s) incurred for participation in this survey. Interested sources should submit responses to Mr. Richard Edens, 314 CONS/LGCA, 642 Thomas Avenue, Little Rock AFB, AR 72099-4971 at or before June 6, 2006. Responses should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage Code, Phone Number, FAX Number, Size of Business pursuant to NAICS code 237310 (size standard $28,500,000), in addition to size of business, indicate all classes of business that fit your firm; i.e. Small Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, etc, status of CCR registration and ORCA registration.
