- This synopsis is to announce the Department of Veteran Affair's intent to award a firm fixed price performance based service contract for the development of web-based curricula for telehealth training. It is anticipated that the solicitation RFP VA-259-06-RFP-0011 will be published within the next 15 days. This award is set aside for qualified small business concerns to compete (see FAR 19). The NAICS Code is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services - which has a size standard of $23 million. The contract will be for the development of 3 web-based curricula which total 12 web courses approximately one hour each in length. The curricula include: Telehealth Foundations, Telehealth Clinical Applications, and Concepts of Health Informatics. The offeror shall provide professional level web development including Instructional System Design of the approved content storyboards in order for the VA subject mater experts to review, recommend, edit and approve the Alpha, Beta and Professional Beta Web sites. The VA anticipates that the program will promote up to 20 multimedia assets related to both 10 Flash Movie/Audio files and 10 Flash animations.
