- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 61711-0095-6 for the provision of providing two (2) Pharmacy Technicians at the Federal Correctional Complex, Lompoc, California. The contractor(s) must provide pharmacy technician services to patients in a correctional setting. Contractor must have a medical/technical background obtained through education or on the job training in the Pharmaceutical field and be a high school graduate or equivalent. The Contract must have computer and typing skills. The Contractor must have experience working as a Pharmacy Technician for at least one year or have a certificate of training for Pharmacy Technician services. It is estimated the contract will include 52 weeks of pharmacy technician services @ 40 hours per week per contract year. A session will be defined as one hour. Estimated total sessions per year is 2080 for each position. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about July 24, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is August 24, 2006. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
