- The Government intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price type contract, in accordance with FAR part 6.302-1, for the acquisition for upgrades and spare items of a wide area long range surveillance system from PVP Advanced EO Systems Inc as required by the U.S. Secret Service. This procurement is for delivery of supplies and associated maintenance/installation services. This announcement is for information purposes only. A sole source RFP shall be issued only to PVP. By submitting a proposal, the vendor shall be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Vendors who feel that they can provide the above product shall fully identify their interest and submit their capabilities to meet the above requirements before this notice closes via email to the Contract Specialist, Cheryl Bernhard. Submission of interest does not guarantee consideration by the Government for this requirement and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Submission of interest may initiate competition for future procurements of same items, but is not guaranteed. Any responses received after the closing date or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis and not be considered. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. Offers shall be submitted no later than 25 July 2006 at 1600 hours to Cheryl.bernhard@usss.dhs.gov. This requirement is unrestricted.
