- This acquisition is a Full and Open competition. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310 with a size standard of $31.0 million. This project consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary for the construction of 4.9 miles of 34.5-kV double-circuit spun-concrete pole transmission line; 3.5 miles of 34.5-kV single-circuit spun-concrete pole transmission line; and removing 4.9 and 3.5 miles of 34.5-kV wood pole transmission line. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated with a completion date of on or about April 13, 2007. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Place of performance is Yuma County, AZ. The evaluation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award from the issued solicitation is Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT). Under PPT procedures, past performance will be evaluated. It is anticipated the solicitation package, to include specifications and drawings, will be available at no charge on or about August 4, 2006. Requests for a CD copy of the solicitation are required.
