- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Fish for the Future for a one year order to assist the NMFS in its coordination efforts with stakeholders (commercial and recreational fishermen, consumers, environmental groups, regulators, etc.) Specific tasks shall revolve around coordination meetings, in the administrative areas, facilitation, and preparation of meeting minutes. Fish for the Future is a non profit entity chartered to provide these types of services and structured to bring stakeholders together for meaningful issue discussion. A fixed price per direct productive hour quote for a one year order to complete the tasks outlined above is contemplated. Authority for this acquisition resides in 41 USC 253(c)(1). Competitive solicitation documents do not exist. Nonetheless, otherwise responsible sources may submit quotes, which if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by NOAA. Responses are required no later than August 06, 2006. Responses shall be made via electronic transmission to (don.thompson@noaa.gov), confirming faxes may be sent to 301-713-0806. The governing NAICS code is 541611 with a corresponding small business size standard of $6.5 million. Award will be based on simplified acquisition procedures.
