- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement for conference services for the MEP National Training Conference 2007, to be held in Orlando, FL April 21 through 25, 2007. Through competitive procedures utilizing OnVantage it has been determined that the Orlando World Center Marriott, FL is the only vendor available on the dates required, in the location needed, with the required space available. The Government intends to award a fixed-price purchase order to the Orlando World Center Marriott for meeting rooms, food services and audiovisual equipment for 600 attendees. This procurement is authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11 dated 05 July 2006. FAR 51.212-4 Contracts Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. This is not a request for quotations. A solicitations package is not available.
