Description

Solicitation 8006-42 seeks helicopter flight services for fully Contractor operated and maintained aircraft services (AS350B2, AS350B3, BH206LIV with high altitude tail rotor system, or BH 407 type aircraft are expected to fulfill the solicitation requirements) to support the Bureau of Land Management in their fire management mission programs. IMPORTANT: These services are in response to terminated services and the successful Contractor must be capable of being on site at the applicable designated base and beginning work on July 26th or no later than three (3) days after receipt of notice of award. It is important and appreciated if only offerors who can meet the July 26th start date submit an offer. The helicopter will be based at Lewistown, Montana with a use period of 45 days, July 26 through September 8, 2006. This requirement is for 2006 only and does not have any options of renewal for future years. The Contractor must possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is July 18, 2006 and the closing date is July 21, 2006 8:00 a.m., local time at Boise, Idaho. It is a requirement that any successful awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award being made. Solicitation information will be available through the fedbizopps site (found under Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, NBC, Aviation Management Headquarters, Boise, ID and at www.oas.gov. Set aside for small business.
