Description

The National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center, is soliciting proposals for Paper, Photo, and Book Conservation Services. These contracts are designed to respond to a need that the National Park Service has for conservation treatment, and housing for storage and exhibit, of paper artifacts. The artifacts may include, but are not limited to, books, magazines, pamphlets, prints, documents, artworks, posters, certificates, letters, photographs (including historic and modern photographic techniques) and cards. All documentation and subsequent treatments shall conform to the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice. The Government anticipates award of two Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Fixed-Priced contracts. The contracts will be negotiated for one year with priced options for four additional years. The contracts will be negotiated with a minimum of $2,000 and $250,000 maximum workload for task orders issued during each 12-month period. The Government anticipates award on or before October 2, 2006. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) Website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or around August 03, 2006. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with the Department of Interior are requested to register at the NBC site. THIS SOLICITATION IS TOTALLY SET ASIDE FOR A SMALL BUSINESS. NAICS CODE IS 541990, ALL OTHER PROFESSIONAL, SCIENTIFIC, AND TECHNICAL SERVICES SIZE STANDARD OF $5.0 MILLION AVERAGE ANNUAL RECEIPTS FOR AN OFFEROR'S PRECEEDING THREE FISCAL YEARS.
