- Description
- The United States Army Intelligence and Security Command intends to award a contract on an other than full and open competitive basis for Trojan Network Control Center (TNCC) Matrix Switch Maintenance Support. The anticipated award will be made under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, to only one responsible source, to McData, Plymouth, MN. McData is the sole manufacturer that possesses the ability for manufacturing and providing main tenance for this switch. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considere d solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 7 days from the date of this posting instead of 45 days. Please provide responses to Mr. Xavier Hernande z at xherna@mi.army.mil.
