- Requirements type contract for Maintenance Support for Semi Tractors, Trailers, and Generators for the U.S. Army Mission Support Battalion, Fort Knox, Kentucky, during the period 1 September 2006 through 31 August 2007, with two one-year option perio ds. Services include preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, remedial maintenance, roadside service, and recovery/towing services. Maintenance services to be performed at the contractor facility which shall be located within a 50 mile radius of F ort Knox, KY. Roadside and recovery/towing services shall be provided within a 100 mile radius of Fort Knox, KY and shall be available 24 hours per day, seven days a week. This requirement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox Directorate of Contracting website at: http://doc.knox.army.mil on or about 26 July 2006 with quotes due on or about 15 August 2006. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewis e posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
