- This is a Brand Name or Equal solicitation, previously solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside; now issued as Full and Open Competition. The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBS at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the rental of JD450L Dozers, JD 644J Z-bar Loaders, JD 750L Dozers, and a JD225 Excavator, all brand name or equal, for 6 months to support repairs caused by Hurricanes Ivan/Dennis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) F1T2AK6158A100A. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532412, with small business standard size $6.5M.
