Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to replace the timber bulkhead at U.S. Coast Guard Sector Field Office, East Moriches, Suffolk County, NY. The timber bulkhead shall be replaced at some locations with a steel sheet pile bulkhead and at other locations with an FRP sheet pile bulkhead. This Invitation for Bids is 100% small business set-aside for which the applicable small business size standard is $31 million average annual receipts for the three previous fiscal years. This project including all options is estimated between $1M and $5M. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The applicable NAICS Code is 237990. The tentative bid opening date is 7 September 2006. Bid packages will be available on or about 4 August 2006 at a non-refundable charge of $35. Certified Checks or money orders should be made payable to AlphaGraphics and mailed to the firm at: 423 Bloomfield Ave., Montclair, NJ 07043. Do not send fees to the Coast Guard. All relevant solicitation documents including specifications and drawings may also be accessed for download for free commencing on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued under this solicitation shall also be posted on this website.
