- Description
- Sealift Logistics Command, Pacific (SEALOGPAC) intends to procure two (2) T-AOE 6 MX9 Major Overhaul Kits from Wartsila Lips Inc. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The closing date of the solicitation will be 14 July 2006, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Wartsila Lips Inc., as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Telephonic requests for the solicitation resulting from this notice will not be accepted. Only inquires can be addressed to Joseph.Vento@navy.mil. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 14 July 2006. The closing date of the solicitation will be 14 July 2006, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation.
