Description

The BLM has a requirement for a cultural resource inventory report for 1770 acres of Class III, intensive inventory of rolling terrain in the mixed conifer and mountain shrub vegetative zones south of Gunnison, Colorado and west of Gold Basin Creek. There are three previously recorded sites within the survey area. These vegetative zones are known to have been utilized prehistorically for brief episodes of hunting and gathering primarily. Erosion has altered the ground surface in some of the area scattering artifacts and removing topsoil, however in the deeper soil areas, subsurface remains including dateable hearths or processing areas can retain a high degree of integrity. This requirement is open to Total Small Business Set Asides. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may print the bid documents to submit their bid by mail, or bids may be submitted electronically. No facsimile bids will be accepted. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 07/14/06. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
