Description

The BLM has a requirement that consists of controlling Canada thistle, leafy spurge, Russian knapweed, hoary cress (whitetop), perennial pepperweed, yellow toadflax, black henbane and other noxious weeds over approximately 500 acres of Federal land in the San Luis Valley Resource Area. The contractor will provide all of the labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the job. Requirements include having a valid pesticide applicators license for use on rangelands and the ability to provide BLM with a complete report stating how much chemical (pounds of active ingredient) was applied when the project is completed. The contractor will be required to GPS all projects and provide BLM with data collected at the end of completion of contract or as needed. An official site tour will be offered on July 20, 2006 at 10AM. The person who will lead the tour is Dario Archuleta 719-655-2547, in the Saguache Field Office at 46525 Hwy 114 Saguache CO 81149. This requirement is open to Total Small Business Set Asides. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may print the bid documents to submit their bid by mail, or bids may be submitted electronically. No facsimile bids will be accepted. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 07/13/06. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
