Description
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District has a requirement for six (6) Safety and Occupational Health Specialists. This contract is a non-personal service performance based service contract. It is for a base year and 4 option years. Contractor shall provide all safety specialist personnel, equipment, fuel, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to ensure that all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers safety requirements are met in accordance with EM 385-1-1, local, state, an d federal safety regulations. The contractor will provide supervision for all contractor personnel and establish work assignments. All task related requests of the contractor will be commensurate through the New Orleans District Safety Office. The Gover nment reserves the right to incrementally increase or decrease, within the Contractor's capability, the number of safety specialists with 48 hour notice. The total duration of this contract is not to exceed five (5) years. The NAICS code is 541690. Sol icitation W912P8-06-R-0175 will be released on or about July 14, 2006 with a closing date of July 21, 2006. All interested parties must be registered with FedTeDS to download the solicitation. Interested offerors should select the Begin Vendor/Contractor Registration Process option. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to registering w ith FedTeDS. Information on CCR registration may be obtained at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
