Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Re-Entry Center Services (RRC) for male and female Federal offenders in Tucson, Arizona (Pima County). Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Residential Reentry Center (RRC), dated August 2000 as Revised by the CCB: Revision 1 - December 2000, Revision 2 - August 2001, Revision 3 - November 2001, Revision 4 - May 2002, Revision 5 - October 2003, Revision 6 -May 2004, Revision 7 - May 2005, Revision 8 - December 2005 and Revision 9 - June 2006." An indefinite delivery requirements type contract with a two year base period and three one-year options is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for the one year base period is 9,150 minimum (80% males/20% females), Option Year 1 is 9,125 minimum (80% males/20% females) inmate days, Option Year 2 is 9,125 minimum (80% males/20% females) inmate days and Option Year 3 is 9,125 minimum (80% males/20% females), Option Year 4 is 9,150 minimum (80% males/20% females) inmate days, respectively. The estimated number of inmate days for the one year base period is 14,640 maximum (80%/20% females), Option Year 1 is 14,600 maximum (80% males/20% females) inmate days and Option Year 2 is 14,600 maximum (80% males/20% females), Option Year 3 is 14,600 maximum (80% males/20% females), Option Year 4 is 14,640 maximum (80% males/20% females) inmate days, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about August 14, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0927-WR will be on or about October 13, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitations will be accepted.
