Description

Work shall consist of furnishing, mixing, and stockpiling an aggregate-clay mixture for future placement as a surface course at the Bessey Ranger District, Halsey, NE. The material shall be placed at the old stockpile location off State Spur 86B approximately ? mile south of the intersection between State Spur 86B and FSR #212 Natick Road. An estimated 600 cubic yards of clay and an estimated 2,400 cubic yards of aggregate shall be furnished by the contractor to mix together to produce the desired composition, for a total of 3,000 of aggregate/clay mixture. PROJECT LOCATION: The project sites are located on the SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-06-0086, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Quotes (RFQ) and will be available for downloading on or about July 28, 2006 at the website address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Quote Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
