Description
Solicitation Number, SPM4A6-06-R-0216, 0012561521, NSN: 3740-01-523-0708, Insect Trap, Part Number: Flies Be Gone, Source: Combined Distributors Inc. (CAGE 3U9S7). Unit box contains 50 each.. This is a synopsis for a commercial item in accordance with the procedures of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. Alternate offers require approval (NO EXCEPTIONS) by the Armed Forces Pest Management Board (AFPMB) before addition to list of approved sources. DLA/DSCR AFPMB point of contact is Mr. Clifford Myers, DSCR-FAEAA, phone: 804-279-3995. Original manufacturer?s commercial unit packaging is required. Repackaging is not authorized. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. No data is available. The alternate offeror is required to provide a complete data package including data for the approved AND alternate part for evaluation. This is solicited as Other than Full and Open Competition as an Unrestricted procurement and will result in a Firm Fixed-Priced Contract for a quantity of 635 BX. A 100% Quantity Option shall be included in the solicitation. Failure to provide pricing on this option will result in the removal of a bid from consideration. This is not a Critical Application Item. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). DLA-Direct lines only to New Cumberland, PA (SNG). FOB: Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Required delivery is 45 days ARO. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on August 1, 2006 with a closing date of September 1, 2006.
