- Description
- The subject requirement is for acquisition of NSN 4720-00-021-3320. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4720. See Note(s): 1, 9, and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 29 August 2006 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning of one drawing item with an AMC/AMSC code of C. This signifies that the part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 2 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis with other than full and open competition.
