- The subject requirement is for acquisition of one NSN(s). This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4730. See Note(s): 1, 9, and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 21 July?06 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for one 1R drawing item. This signifies that the Government does not own the data rights to the drawing. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for full and open competition; however, the rights to use data are not owned by the Government and uneconomical to purchase. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will full and open competition.
