- The Public Works Division at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of various types of commercial chemicals used in the maintenance and operation of base utility plants and swimming pools located at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC and New River Air Station, NC. It is the Government?s intention to issue a firm-fixed price requirements contract. The contractor shall supply all chemicals identified in the Statement of Work, transportation and services to deliver at multiple sites throughout the base. The period of performance shall be a base period of date of award through 31 July 2007 with four one-year option periods. The option years will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 424690. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The solicitation will be available for download via the internet, www.neco.navy.mil, or Fedbizops, www.fedbizops.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, http://www.ccr.gov/, and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
