- Description
- The NAVSEA Warfare Center ? Philadelphia Code 635, is updating and improving Shipboard Hazardous Material (HM) storage lockers currently being used onboard U.S. Navy ships. Code 635 is performing an initial look to gather information on products to improve existing Navy Shipboard lockers. Improvements shall include a method to secure HM stowed within the locker so as to prevent HM containers from moving and tipping over that may be caused by the ship?s movement. Products that can secure the HM should be compatible with a variety of locker dimensions and sizes. These products should be resistant to hazardous materials including, but not limited to: flammables, corrosives, and oxidizers. Please contact Mr. Carl Joyce (215) 897-7297, carl.joyce@navy.mil, if additional information is required. This synopsis is for information purposes only. It does not constitute an RFQ and does not obligate the Government in any way to purchase any of the systems to be offered.
