Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item clothing and sundries vendors to provide customized 24-hr processing of small quantity orders. This synopsis is issued in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A $00.00 BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (BPA) under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written RFQ will not be issued. The SIC codes for this requirement are 448110, 448120, 448150, and 453220. Vendors interested in being considered must show the capability to stitch customized logos on shirts and other products sold by them and ship the orders out within 24 hours to all points within the United States. This time requirement is critical and will not be modified or extended to accommodate vendors. Orders may vary from 1-2 items to 10 or more. Vendors who can meet this requirement will be asked to provide samples of their products including samples of the embroidery. Catalogs are welcomed. Vendors will be selected on the quality of the products and the extent of the variety offered. Vendors must have a valid DUNS number and be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/ . The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 are applicable to this requirement. Any BPA resulting from this notice will have no funding obligated for it and will have no minimum order guarantee. Vendors must contact R.M. Smith at rmsmith@usgs.gov by 1 pm, July 18, 2006.
