Description

Sole Source Synopsis The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, AZ intends to negotiate a fixed price contract for the following requirements: Fifteen (15) Cable Receptacle Assemblies; P/N: FO111400-4036 on a sole source basis with ITT Cannon located at 666 E. Dyer Road , P.O. Box 829 Santa Ana CA 92702-0929. The cable receptacles will be used in support of the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Grounds existing Range Digital Transmission System (RDTS). ITT Cannons receptacles are the only product of this type compatible in form, fi t and function with existing receptacles used aboard U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground. Currently, only ITT Cannon holds the patent for these particular cable receptacles. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13, this acquisition will be made under the Simplified Acqui sition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334417 with a size standard of 500 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. If you feel that y our firm possesses the ability to provide this service, interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Governments requirement by July 20, 2006 at 12:00PM noon MST.
