Description

A Request for Proposal (RFP) for the rental of the following units: 150 washers, 138 dryers, 26 stackable dryers, 27 washer/dryer combo is contemplated for use at various locations at Pope AFB, NC 28308 near Fayetteville, NC. The contract contemplated is firm-fixed priced with three line items; one each for Washer, Dryer, and Combo. Stackable Dryers will be counted as two units each. The contractor will be responsible for delivery (FOB: Destination), installation, maintenance / replacement when maintenance is not possible. The performance period is expected to be 01 October 2006 through 30 September 2007 with at least two option years. Only new units are acceptable. All units must be built to handle large volumes of laundry and able to withstand continuous use. The requirement is contemplated to be solicited on a full and open bases. All responsible sources registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. However, if the contracting officer receives written (fax ? 910-394-6279 or e-mail ? cynthia.williams@pope.af.mil) Notices of Interest from at least two responsible / registered (in CCR) small businesses before 20 July 2006, this acquisition will be considered for a set-aside action for Small Business only firms. The applicable NAICS is 532210 and the standard for small business is $6.5 million. The RFP is expected to be released on / about 27 July 2006. The anticipated closing date is 28 August 2006. The anticipated award date is 15 September 2006. All dates are subject to change with or without notice. Currently FUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE but anticipated from the Fiscal Year 2007 appropriation.
