- The 81st Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source purchase order to Advantor Systems Corporation to provide an Integrated Visitor Control System providing the capability to create identification media, track visitors/contractors on Keesler Air Force Base, and the real time ability to verify the validity of identification media at entry control points to the base by the use of wireless personal digital assistants (PDA?s). The system will include the following: Two (2) Badging servers with software capable of providing an effective visitor control system. Two digital cameras with tri-pods, two signature pads, two duplexing card printers and one laser printer for report printing to include all accessories required to make and issue contractor/visitor badges and the capability of tracking visitors and contractors entering the installation, creating ID media applicable to visitors and contractors and provide Security Forces Installation Entry Point Guards with a real-time ability to verify the validity of the issued ID Media, Four (4) integrated wireless access points to allow installation entry gates the capability of real time interface with badging system, Twelve (12) Wireless PDA/Scanners with applicable trigger handles, batteries and stationary chargers capable of interfacing with wireless access points and badging system, and enough badging supplies and access cards to produce approximately 5000 badges. Procurement will include delivery, installation, on-site training by vendor to customer and all applicable warranties. Desired delivery date is 30 Sept 2006 and includes complete installation and on-site training. A sole source procurement is intended because market research had indicated Advantor Systems Corporation is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement.
