- The FAA Washington Headquarters Small Business Development Office will host a one-day "Women-Owned Business (WOB) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Marketplace" at the Holiday Inn Capital, 550 C St., S.W. Washington, D.C. The event will take place in the Columbia Ballroom on Thursday, July 27, 2006 from 8:00 A.M. - 12:45 P.M. Your company is invited to participate in this event which is designed to increase the participation of women-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses in prime and subcontracting opportunities at the FAA. This is an excellent opportunity to meet procurement decision-makers at the Federal Aviation Administration. Women-Owned Businesses & Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses are strongly encouraged to participate; however, all types of businesses may attend. Speakers include the FAA Associate Administrator for Information Services/Chief Information Officer, FAA Air Traffic Organization Director of Information Technology, FAA Assistant Chief Council/Procurement Division, FAA Associate Chief Council/Office of Dispute Resolution For Acquisition, and the FAA Technology Transfer Program/Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program manager.
