- Contracting Office Address: Procurement Office U.S. Office Pristina Nazim Hikmet 30 Pristina, Kosovo The date of this pre-solicitation notice: July 13, 2006. The U.S. Office Pristina in Kosovo will launch the SOLICITATION within the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web address (www.fbo.gov). This SOLICITATION is to provide Health Insurance Services for locally employed staff of the United States Government in Kosovo. The health insurance services shall be provided in accordance with Section C and the Exhibits in Section J of the SOLICITATION. The groups of employees who shall be provided with this insurance are listed in Section C.1.2. Official Residence Expense (ORE) Staff and employees of the U.S. Mission to Kosovo Employee Association in Kosovo are included under the contract only as a rider. The estimated number of insured persons is 800. These requirements may change depending upon funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four additional one-year periods at the option of the U.S. Mission to Kosovo. The U. S. Mission to Kosovo invites interested parties to submit a proposal for customized health insurance services for locally employed staff of the United States Government in Kosovo. All responsible parties may submit a proposal for consideration. The Government plans to issue the actual solicitation on or about July 28, 2006, and the closing date of the actual solicitation will be available in the solicitation package. The SOLICITATION will be issued via the FEDBIZOPS -- no paper copies will be mailed. Note: The response date for the SOLICITATION in FEDBIZOPS is not a firm date.
