- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of Computer Vocational Training Instructor Services to provide training in computer keyboarding and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint) for the inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution, 1600 Industrial Park Road, Beckley, West Virginia 25813. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The successful contractor shall provide these services consistent with community standards. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611699, with a small business size standard of $6.0 million. Services will be performed on individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. Yearly contract requirements include an estimated1560 one hour sessions. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 19, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
