- PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted as Request for Quotation No. 2006-Q-08766. The NAICS is 333411 with a size standard of 500 employees.. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Pittsburgh Research Laboratory, 626 Cochran?s Mill Road (#166 Receiving) , Pittsburgh, PA has a requirement for Filter Bags for the Baghouse. Provide the following Contract Line Items in accordance with the specification stated: CLIN 001, Filter Bags for Baghouse: five (5) inch diameter by 198 inches long, compression band top with open eye galvanized cap; installed, and 6 inch double cuff bottom with cord inserted cuff, six anti-collapse rings installed. Fabricated of 10 ounce wovern fiberglass with acid resistant finish. QUANTITY: 1000 EACH; CLIN 0002 Shipping costs, if applicable (FOB Destination preferred). DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Filters must be delivered in sufficient time for the plant to be ready for startup operations scheduled for 9/22/06. Delivery is desired within 30 days after receipt of award. EVALUATION: Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with applicable acquisition policies and procedures. If shipping costs apply, they must be identified and will be considered in determining overall cost to the Government. The Government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to this solicitation is considered most advantageous to the Government, price and delivery considered. Failure to provide sufficient information to demonstrate compliance with all requirements included herein may result in rejection of your offer. GENERAL INFORMATION: All prices shall be F.O.B. Destination. Facsimile or electronic offers are authorized. If any exceptions or assumptions are taken by a contractor with regard to any aspect of this RFQ, they should be so stated in the quote. All quotes must include a specified expiration time for the quote (60 days desired). Offers that fail to furnish the required information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
