- This notice serves as formal public announcement of the Social Security Administration?s performance decision of a Competitive Sourcing Study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (revised May 29, 2003.) Agency: Social Security Administration- Agency Component: Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (formerly Office of Hearing and Appears), Falls Church, VA- Type of Competition: Streamlined- Start date of the competition: May 5, 2006- Description of activity being competed: The warehouse laborer is responsible for; a) organizing, receiving and shipping, inventorying and ordering materials routinely stocked in the warehouse; b) receiving, inspecting and completing documents related to incoming shipments of materials; c) ensuring that outgoing shipments and loads are done such that materials being shipped can reasonably be expected to arrive at the destination without damage; and d) moving office furniture and equipment- Incumbent service providers: Government employees- Number of government personnel performing the activity: 9 FTEs- Name of the CSO: Jo Anne B. Barnhart, Commissioner of SSA- Name of the Contracting Officer: Jacqueline R. Lessig- Name of the ATO: - Eileen McDaniel- Performance Decision: The low Cost Provider was determined to be the PRIVATE SECTOR PROVIDER, certified on June 29, 2006- End date of the competition: June 29, 2006- It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued, and contract awarded in FY 06 as a result of this A-76 competition.
