- SITE VISIT AND PREBID: THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2006 @ 10:00 AM Participants will meet at-- SERVICE STATION ON RT. 80 NEAR THE KNOTT/PERRY COUNY LINE, 8 MILES NE OF THE HAZARD EXIT. BIDS TO BE OPENED ON-SITE FOLLOWING PRE-BID MEETING. ATTENDANCE AT THE PREBID CONFERENCE AND BID OPENING IS MANDATORY. BIDDERS MUST BE PRESENT AT THE START OF THE PREBID CONFERENCE AS ANNOUNCED BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER AND BE PRESENT FOR THE BID OPENING. Estimated cost range for this project is $15,000 to $30,000. Description of Project: The work on this project will consist of three major elements: (1) Excavation (2) Construction of a guardrail and rail pile barricade wall (3) Restoration of all disturbed areas after all work has been completed, including the driveway.
