- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a Stewardship Contracting 25 miles south of Alturas, California. The purpose of this contract is to provide services for forest and rangeland health through density management of juniper. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. Note: All merchantable material to be removed (Biomass BDT) will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer value. The period of performance is negotiable and it is a multi-year contract. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310. A pre-proposal site tour has been scheduled for July 26, 2006 at 8:00 AM. Participants meet at: The Juniper Junction parking lot located at the intersection of 299 and 139 in Adin, California.. Offerors intending to attend the site visit tour should contact contact Peter Hall (530) 233-7928 at least 48 hours before the scheduled site visit and advise him of the firms name.
