- This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The Government intends to use Part 12 to buy this commercial item and incidental installation services. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry web page (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/)and to the Fort Rucker Directorate of Contracting web page (http://www.rucker.army.mil/doc/doc.htm). No paper copies of this solicitation or any amendments will be issued. A solicitati on mailing list will not be established since electronic commerce methods will be utilized. The solicitation is planned for issue on or around July 13, 2006, and proposals are to be due on August 4, 2006; these dates are subject to change. The basis for award will be best overall value to the Government.
