- The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Fort Bliss Contracting Office intends to award a contract on an other than full and open competitive basis for the procurement of CLIN0001: 50 Each, DVR VBOX, 30 Hour RECORDER WITH NMEA INPUT FOR GPS CLOCK . INTEGRATED OVERLAY ACCESSORY FOR VBOX AS INTERNAL COMPONENT, IMPLEMENT NMEA-0183 VE.01 INTERFACE STANDARDS SO VBOX RESPONDS TO ADDITIONAL LISTED COMMAND PROTOCOL SIGNAL, INCLUDING GPS COORDINATE DATA. FULL LIST OF COMMANDS. INTEGRATE VIDEO OVERLAY CHIPSE T TO PROVIDE DISPLAY OF GPS SERIAL DATA IN VIDEO FRAMES, FIELD SPECIFICATIONS (TBD). LAYOUT AND TURN NEW MECHANICAL PACKAGING OF VBOX, (FORM FACTOR tbd). NOTE: DELIVERY TIME REQUISITE UPON FINAL AGREED CONFIGURATION AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, CLIN0002: Shipping and Insurance for DVRs. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The award will be made to Cover t Systems, LLC., 12305 East Triple T Lane, Prescott Valley, AZ, 86314. Covert Systems, LLC. is the sole manufacturer and provider of these supplies and services. Due to compatibility issues no substitution of these supplies and services can be accepted. Th ese are commercial items that will be acquired under FAR Part 12 procedures. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Administrative Information: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent must be received by 20 July 2006.
