Description

Notice of intent to award a sole-source procurement under FAR Part 6.302 (a) (2) to Global Knowledge, Inc. to provide one training class on Norstar Modular ICS equipment. The training class is entitled: ?Norstar Modular ICS (MICS) 7.0 Hardware Overview, Installation?. Training will be specifically for Norstar Modular ICS Equipment. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a) (2) the Government will negotiate directly with Global Knowledge Inc. The contract action is for services for which the Government solicited from only one source, Global Knowledge Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2). A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a soliciation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611420 with a size standard of $6.5 million. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to 90 CONS/LGCB, ATTN: Chuck Crews, 7505 Marne Loop, F. E. Warren AFB, WY 82005 or sent by email to charles.crews@warren.af.mil. Responses to this notice must be submitted not later than 17 Jul 06 at 1200. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Response to this synopsis is not required.
