- Description
- The 412 TW/AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing parts and technical support-to-support AFMC Test Pilot School (TPS). The requirement is to teach Radar concepts to TPS pilot, navigator, and engineer students. The specific parts listed below will directly support the training requirements of USAF TPS. REQUIREMENTS: RF (Radio Frequency) lab Background: RF (Radio Frequency) lab that can demonstrate to TPS students simple and complex Radar theory. The RF Lab will be broken into three key components: Radar lab, EW lab, and RCS measurement lab. Components will consist of: Analog Radar Training System Digital Radar Add-On Radar Tracking System Add-On Radar Active Target Add-On RCS and ISAR Measurement System Add-On Radar Phased Array Antenna Add-On Supportive Instrumentation Package Radar Cross-Section Processor Antenna Training and Measurement System Trainee Courseware Lab Manuals Instructor Courseware Lab Guides On-Site Instructor Training, 5 days Any interested parties believing they can meet all the requirements, may submit a statement of capabilities. All information furnished shall be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government technical representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotations. However, to be considered in this sources sought, please provide information regarding performance in recent and relevant contracts, commercial or government, with points of contacts for each. The government will not pay for information submitted in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis. The information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force.
